Our compassionate and caring team of Doctors, Veterinary Technicians and Administrative Staff are committed to bringing you the very best in veterinary care for your pet.

JILL, Office Manager

Jill began her career with Skycrest Animal Clinic in 1991 as a Receptionist, later a technician, and for the past 7 years has served as the Office Manager. Her duties include payroll, inventory control, accounts payable & receivable and most of all, trying to keep everyone happy! She recently received an advanced diploma in Animal Homeopathy and hopes her newly acquired knowledge will benefit the patients at Skycrest.

Jill has been married to Steven for 27 years and they share their home with 2 dogs and 3 cats. Jill's favorite hobbies are sewing and gardening.

SHARON, Receptionist

Sharon joined the staff of Skycrest Animal Clinic in 1998 and enjoys all kinds of animals. She especially loves the interaction of working with clients and is a compassionate and dedicated care taker.

Sharon is Skycrest's resident photographer and nature lover. Sharon and her husband, Sandy, have been married since 1974 and they live with their dog, "Snickers".

KATHY, Receptionist

Kathy has been a part of the Skycrest family since 1999. Her duties include scheduling appointments and client care. She is also our "computer goddess" and is in charge of everything that plugs into the wall.

Kathy loves animals and has dedicated her work to giving something back to the patients of Skycrest Animal Clinic in return for the pleasure she receives from all animals. She spends her spare time with her dog, "Bogie" and her recently adopted 5 year old shepherd mix, "Cooper". Kathy has also adopted "Toastie", Skycrest's orange tabby mascot. "Toastie" has a home now but comes often to visit his friends at the hospital.

JAMIE, Receptionist

Jamie has been a receptionist at Skycrest since March, 2004. She greets our clients, works in our pharmacy and gives all of our patients lots of kisses. Jamie is very interested in Egyptology and hopes to one day travel to Egypt to explore the ruins with her husband, Stan.

Jamie is pictured with "Junior" on her right, a 7 1/2 year old Lab mix, and "Jake" on her left, who has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

PAT, Receptionist

Pat has been with Skycrest Animal Clinic on a part-time basis since 1984. She helps with telephone reception, scheduling appointments and greeting patients & their owners as they arrive.

Pat is a full time teacher, and together with her husband, Michael, she has been active in breeding, training and exhibiting pure bred dogs since 1974. She specializes in Chihuahuas and Japanese Chins.

RIN, Receptionist

Rin joined Skycrest Animal Clinic in September of 2004. After working as an accountant since college, she decided to leave the profession and do something she has always loved -- working with animals.

Rin's duties include telephone reception, scheduling appointments, and greeting our clients. In addition to her love for animals, Rin's other loves include Old English Sheepdogs, music, car racing and England's

countryside.

MINDY, Veterinary Technician

Mindy is one of our excellent technicians and holds a B.S. degree in Animal Science with a minor in Business Communication. While in school, Mindy was able to intern as an animal presenter at the Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom where she met her future husband, Ewan.

When Mindy takes time out from planning her upcoming wedding, she enjoys playing softball, horseback riding, snow skiing and spending time with her Golden Retriever, "Buddy".

KELLIE MICHELLE,

Veterinary Technician

Kellie Michelle has gained valuable experience working with the SPCA particularly addressing the needs of rabbits. She is responsible for admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring in-house patient progress, laboratory analysis and assist in radiology.

Her favorite hobbies are antiquing, and she especially enjoys going to concerts. Kellie Michelle has a cat named "Turkey" in addition to her two rabbits, "Dewy" & "Dalton".

JENNIFER, Veterinary Technician

Jennifer is presently pursuing her veterinary degreed by attending Ross University in St. Kitts. While on breaks from her studying, she comes to Skycrest and assists our doctors with monitoring patient progress, radiology, surgery and performs laboratory analysis.

JESSICA, Veterinary Technician

Jessica began working at Skycrest Animal Clinic as a high school student in 2003 helping to keep our kennel facilities clean.

She is currently enrolled at Northern Illinois University but continues to work at Skycrest as a Veterinary Technician on school breaks and during the summer. She has 3 dogs named "Pickles", "Lambeau" and "Charles Barkley".

LISA, Veterinary Technician

Lisa joined Skycrest in December of 2005, and has over seven years of experience being a technician. She provides professional care for all or our hospitalized patients and helps to educate our clients on pet care and pet wellness.

Lisa and husband, Josh, are happy parents of an American Eskimo, "Rocky", and a Lab mix named "Belle". They have recently expanded their happy family to include two very animated Sun Conures, "Chief" and "Chrissy".

DEVIN, Receptionist

Devin is one of the newest members of the Skycrest staff, joining us in July, 2006. She formerly worked as a pharmacy technician for three years. Devin has two cats, "Sasha" and "Cameron".

She loves going Cub Scouting with her 6-year old son, Tyler, and shopping with her 3-year old daughter, Abby.

BARBARA, Receptionist

Skycrest is Barbara's dream job because she gets to work with great people and play with dogs all day! Barbara is an award winning freelance feature writer with two degrees in journalism, including a Master's degree in medical and health writing.

After writing about raising teenagers for 10 years, her three kids grew up and she's now following her true passion of writing about and working with animals. She became certified in animal massage therapy a few years ago and volunteers at a local shelter with scared, lonely and injured shelter dogs. Barbara lives with her physician husband, David, and four rescued dogs, "Wrigley", "Mickey" and "Cody" and "Buffy".

JESSICA, Veterinary Technician

Jessica recently joined Skycrest Animal Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant and is continuing her education to become a Certified Veterinary Technician through the Purdue University Distance Learning Program.

She shares her home with her Sheltie, "Clifford", her cat, "Yoshi", two ferrets named "Lucy" and "Daisy", and a ball python named "Henry". Jessica enjoys ballet, yoga, live music and reading books about animals and animal care.

JOE, Veterinary Assistant

Joe, who recently received his BS degree from the University of Illinois in pre-vet medicine, is the newest member of the Skycrest family. Not having a dog of his own, Joe is pictured here with Dr. Wilner's dog, "Ti".

Although Joe is dog deprived, he does enjoy spending his free time with his ferret, "Marek", his newt, "Shinta" and playing with his young nieces. Joe also enjoys running in the nearby forest preserves.
