Olga Ramirez, Registered Veterinary
Technician / Manager
Olga loves
spending time with her husband of 14 years Albert and her 3 children Andrew,
Hailey, and Kaitlenn. She is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute and
holds both A.A. and A.S. degrees.
Olga has
dedicated her life to saving animal lives, and has taken numerous animals home
to rehabilitate and adopt. Olga can’t imagine doing anything else with her life,
other than to help people and animals alike.
Ginny Hernandez, Manager
Ginny knows everybody and everybody knows
Ginny. She has a giving heart and a friendly smile. She is always eager to help
anyone in need, and that’s why she is our Customer Service specialist.
Ginny has a special interest in animal
nutrition, and Culinary Arts. She attended both the Evansta Art Center at
Kendall University and Chef School.
Terry Benjamin, Clinic Supervisor
Terry has a small ranch of
her own, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 kids and various
pets. Terry spent many years working as a laboratory technician on the human
side of medicine.
After taking a few years off, Terry decided to pursue
veterinary medicine. Now as a full time technician/receptionist/supervisor,
Terry has found her true calling.
Rana Hassan,
Certified Veterinary
Technician
Rana has always had the desire
to help save animal lives. She has 2 dogs and 3 cats that she adores. Rana
enjoys playing all sorts of sports like basketball, tennis, and horseback
riding. Most of all Rana loves spending time with her family and friends.
Rana recently received her
Veterinary Technician Degree from Apollo College, located in Mesa, Arizona. She
hopes to someday live her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Mayra Espinoza,
Veterinary Technician
Mayra started her career in the veterinary field
as an intern, and since then, she has decided to dedicate her life to working
with animals. She believes that animals are creatures that need us to care for
them and love them, and that’s exactly what she loves to do.
Mayra is currently
attending Antelope Valley College. In her free time she loves spending time
with her family and friends. Mayra loves karaoke, and she has a talent for it.
Jennifer Parks,
Receptionist
Jennifer has 2 wonderful well behaved pit bulls
that she loves with all her heart. She has a huge love for animals and wishes to
someday open her own pit bull rescue service.
When she is not working, she is
attending school at Antelope Valley College to become a registered nurse.
Jennifer also enjoys relaxing at her home with her family and friends.
Dante Rosati, Technician Assistant
Dante has attended both
the College of the Canyon and Antelope Valley College. He loves working and
caring for animals.
In his spare time, Dante
enjoys spending time with his parents, 6 siblings and 5 dogs( Zeus, Duece,
Buddy, Bandit, and Sandy). Dante is currently attending school full time to be a
veterinarian.
Alyssa Dougherty,
Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa enjoys working at Palm Plaza Pet Hospital and has a lot of fun working
with all the different species of animals that walk into the hospital.
She loves spending
time with her beautiful son and her well behaved pitbulls. She hopes to one day
open her own pitbull rescue facility.
Jennifer Rockhill,
Veterinary Assistant/Wildlife Coordinator
Jennifer Graduated from High School in 1999 and attended the AV Adult Veterinary
Assistant Program. She hopes to continue her studies at Pierce College to
obtain her RVT license. Jennifer coordinates all our wildlife
presentations with schools and Girl/Boy Scouts troops. She is always
willing to take injured and orphaned wildlife home to care for.
Keri Kempenaar, Receptionist
Keri brightens everyone’s day with her caring voice and her beautiful smile. She
loves helping people and enjoys playing with all the puppies that walk into the
hospital.
Keri has a special
interest in reptiles. She would like to someday open her own boarding facility
where she can also rescue animals and find them loving homes.
