The field of Veterinary medicine has changed over the years allowing your pet’s life to be extended further and more comfortably. Due to a longer life expectancy your pet may experience more age related diseases.

If your pet is over 6 years old he/she is now considered a senior citizen and we recommend a thorough physical exam. Just as in humans, early detection and treatment of these diseases is the key to helping your pet live a longer and happier life.

We at Palm Plaza Pet Hospital have developed a geriatric package to aid in keeping your pet healthy. We understand that finances are not easy to come by in our current economic state; therefore we are providing you with a package that has considerable savings for you.

This will hopefully make it feasible for you to take advantage of a program that allows us to provide the best possible care for your pet companion.

The Senior Program Package includes:

Senior wellness physical exam with our qualified veterinarian. Cost $40.00
Complete Blood Count: Aids in detected internal infection, anemia, and other health risks that may not be visible. Cost $59.00
Chemistry Analysis: Aids in detecting early diabetes and in checking the functions of your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and other major organs. Cost $85.00
Urinalysis: Aids in detecting function of the kidneys and urinary tract system. Cost $59.50
Dental Exam. Just like in humans, tartar and plaque build up on teeth. This plaque can start to build up in major arteries that then can lead to heart failure.
X-rays of your pet’s chest and abdomen. Aids in detecting any tumors or other threats that may be developing inside your pet. Cost $139.45
One week supply of Deramaxx. Aids in joint health and relieves pain caused by arthritis in the joints.
Nail Trim. Cost $20.00

The regular cost for these procedures can add up to more than $400.00. As an incentive to encourage you to use this early detection senior program, we are providing this service for ONLY $289.50.
