David Balaj, DVM

 

Dr. Balaj is a 1987 graduate of Michigan State University who has expertise in advanced surgical procedures, laser surgery, and oncology, including chemotherapy. 

 

He joined Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital in 1987.

Joel Katlein, DVM

 

Dr. Katlein is a 1987 graduate of Michigan State University who has extensive knowledge of internal medicine and dentistry.  He joined Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital in 1994.

Gerald Barnes, DVM

 

Dr. Barnes is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University who has studied extensively in the areas of allergies and dermatology, receiving referral cases from many area Veterinarians.

 

He joined Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital in 1999.

Elizabeth Doppke, DVM

 

 

Dr. Doppke is a 2005 graduate of Michigan State University whose special interests include ultrasound and internal medicine, and is one of our newest additions to the veterinary staff of Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital.

 

 

 

 

Janette Vani, DVM

 

Dr. Vani joined Harper Woods Veterinary Hospital as a 2005 graduate of Michigan State University.

 

Her areas of special interest are feline medicine.
