MEET OUR TECHNICIANS
KELLY,
Certified Veterinary
Technician
Kelly is a graduate of NDSU with a B.S. degree
whose duties include assisting the doctors with physical
examinations, laboratory testing, and diagnostic procedures.
She loves to travel and go camping. Kelly shares her home with a hamster named "Rex".
JODI, Certified Veterinary
Technician
In addition to her veterinary certification, Jodi holds a B.S. in Psychology.
As a veterinary technician, she assists our doctors with all aspects of
veterinary medicine and treatment, as well as handling our hospital's ordering. Her interests
include orthopedic medicine, reading, and walking her dog.
She shares her home with her husband Mark,
her son Kain and daughter Isabella, as well as her dog "Argos" and cat "Callisto".
AMBER,
Certified Veterinary
Technician Supervisor
Amber is a graduate of Medical Institute of MN. She joined
the staff of Granite City Pet Hospital as a veterinary
technician in 2001. Amber enjoys working with birds,
assisting with orthopedic surgery and emergency procedures.
In her free time, Amber likes to take her dogs swimming,
spend time with friends and family and going for bike rides.
Amber lives with her 2 dogs and 6 cats.
CASSANDRA, Veterinary
Technician
Cassandra graduated from the
Medical Institute of Minnesota in 2000. She has been working at Granite
City Pet Hospital since 2005. She
enjoys reading, watching movies and riding her motorcycle. Cassandra and her husband
share their home with their dog Samson and their cat "Socks".
ERIN,
Certified Veterinary
Technician
Erin is graduate of
Ridgewater College in Willmar. As a veterinary technician, she assists the
doctors in all aspects of veterinary medicine and treatment. As a Veterinary Tech, she aids the doctors in all
areas of Veterinary medicine and she especially loves assisting with surgical
procedures. In her free time she enjoys playing sports, being outdoors and
spending time with family and friends. She currently lives in St. Cloud with her two
black labs "Keegan" and "Kira".
VANESSA,
Veterinary Technician
Vanessa is a graduate of Argosy University. As a Veterinary Technician she
enjoys assisting in surgeries and performing dental scaling.
In her
spare time Vanessa likes to spend time with friends and family and going to the
lake. She lives in St.Cloud with her Dachshund "Donny" and cat "Romeo".
 ROSE,
Certified Veterinary Technician
Rose is a
graduate of the Minnesota School of Business with a degree in Veterinary
Technology. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special
interest in reptiles and exotic pets. Rose lives in St. Cloud with her
husband Patrick and their pets: two cats named "Crawl" and
"Karen", a black lab named "Charlie", and "Lucy", a ball python.
Her hobbies include bowling, camping, and knitting.
LAURA,
Certified Veterinary
Technician
Laura
graduated from Argosy and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has worked
for a referral clinic before coming here to Granite City in the summer of
2007. Laura
enjoys assisting in surgeries and treatment procedures. She has two cats, "Saddie"
and "Sam", and one dog, "Weasel". Laura also enjoys spending time with friends
and family, camping, and being outside. She currently lives in St. Augusta.
SADIE, Certified Veterinary
Technician
Sadie graduated
from
Minnesota School of Business in December of 2008. She started working at Granite
City Pet Hospital as a kennel assistant in January of
2008, and now works as a CVT. Sadie enjoys spending time
with friends, family, and her two dogs, "Gordy" and "Lily".
AMY,
Veterinary Technician
Amy is currently attending
Minnesota School of Business and plans on graduating in the spring
of 2011 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys spending time with
family and friends and watching movies with her husband Jason and
their two dogs, "Penelope" and "Lucy".
TAMMI (no photo available)
Tammi graduated from Minnesota School of Business with an
Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She
enjoys spending time with family and friends, being in the
sun, and playing sand volleyball. She also loves
spending time with her dog "Madi".
