JEFFREY NELSON, DVM

Dr. Jeffrey Nelson is the co-owner of Granite City Pet Hospital.  Dr. Nelson received his undergraduate degree in Biology from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.  In 1999, he received his Doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota.  His areas of interest include small animal orthopedics, internal medicine, ultrasound and wildlife management. 

Dr. Nelson enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, together with their children, Kaitlyn, Benjamin and his newest addition, Alex.  The Nelson family also includes a domestic long-haired cat named "Stinker" and a Boxer named "Wheeler".

ALYSSA ERLANDSON, DVM

Dr. Alyssa Erlandson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Veterinary Science and received her Doctorate in 2002 from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Erlandson enjoys reading, camping, and agility training with her border collies, "Ripken" and "J.J.".  She and her husband, Eric, and their son, Luke, share their home with their dogs, cats, and sheep.

LISA JANSSEN, DVM

Dr. Lisa Janssen received her B.A. from Concordia College, Moorhead in 1999, and then attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota where she received her Doctorate in 2003. 

In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with friends and family.  Dr. Janssen shares her home with her husband Al, 2 yellow labs named Macy and Winnie.

DEANNA QUADE, DVM

 

Deanna Quade, DVM: Dr. Quade received her B.A. from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in 2002 and then attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.

 

She received her doctorate in 2006. Dr. Quade enjoys spending time at the lake, fishing, kayaking, and boating in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her new husband, Jon, and their Shih Tzu, "Reggie."
