Kathy Lyon, Veterinary Assistant
Kathy has had 20 years of on-the-job experience and assists in examination room assignment for patients, and in helping answer client questions to educate them about their pet's health care. She also helps out whenever needed to assists our doctors and technicians with surgical and treatment procedures. Kathy is responsible for keep our clinic CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN which everyone appreciates when they visit Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic. She loves rock-fossil hunting, hiking and swimming. Her family includes her husband, Bob, and Mom, Janet, in addition to her 5 cats, a horse, and her beloved German Shepherd Dog "Jenna"!

Catherine Bailey,
Office Assistant - Receptionist
Catherine has trained on-the-job, and assists with office duties such as mailing, new client letters, puppy-kitten packs, daily reports, and record keeping. She also helps out with surgical pack preparation, X-ray development, and patient care. Catherine likes spending time with her family and friends, and she loves playing with her ponies whenever she has a chance, especially when it snows. Her family includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 chinchilla, 3 rabbits, and a pony that is expecting a foal in the spring.

Mindy Galbavi,
Receptionist - Office Assistant
Mindy has done her training on-the-job and is responsible for client reception, telephones and appointment scheduling. Her favorite way to spend her time is with her 2 beautiful grandchildren! Mindy's family also include 2 wonderful kitty's that she loves to spoil.

Audrey Spurrell,
Receptionist - Office Assistant
Audrey spent 7 years in the U.S. Navy and is currently attending the Veterinary Technology Program at MSU. She will be receiving her degree and license as a veterinary technician soon. Her duties include processing patient files, telephones, appointment scheduling and assisting our technicians with client and patient care as needed. Audrey grew up on a farm with a variety of animals and she has been active in wild life rescue for the DNR. Her hobbies include rollerblading, watching movies, and she even spends time learning foreign languages! Audrey has quite an animal menagerie that includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 leopard geckos, 1 sugar glider and a rabbit.

Holly Scott,
Receptionist
Holly has a bachelors degree in science and is currently continuing her education part-time in hopes to someday pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, three children, and two dogs.

Peggy Borgman,
Veterinary Assistant
Peggy has been with Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic for 10 years and her duties include client care, taking patient histories, vaccine preparation, and laboratory equipment maintenance. She's always willing to lend an "extra hand" whenever needed. Peggy's hobbies are riding horses and reading. She and her husband, Rodger, have 2 children, Jen and Brian, and 4 beautiful grandchildren! Her favorite pastime - spending time with her grandchildren, of course!

Teija Maynard,
Lead Receptionist
Teija is our Lead Receptionist and has been with Cedar Creek since October, 1007. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time outdoors with her Jack Russell terrier and Chihuahua. Her pets also include a Soloman Island Eclectus, a cat and many fish. She is also passionate about her Lionhead and Mini Rex rabbits which she breeds and shows.

Colette Fraley,
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Colette holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science/Veterinary Technology from Baker College in Flint, Michigan and has been with Cedar Creek since August, 2006. Colette enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with her husband Shane and three young children Savannah, Gabriel and Callen. She currently has two cats, an English Labrador, and a fat-tailed leopard gecko. Colette has a special interest and additional training in the field of veterinary dentistry. She someday hopes to get involved with raising and training leader dogs for the blind.

Amy Baker,
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amy holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science from Michigan State University. She enjoys spending time with her Doberman Pinscher "Jack" and her cat "Link". Amy is also involved in Tae Kwon Do. She has a background in emergency medicine and really enjoys working with our exotic pet patients.
Kevin Nico, Kennel Management (No photo available)
Kevin has trained on-the-job and takes care of the management of our kennels here at Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital. In addition to maintaining our kennels, Kevin monitors our patients and provides lots of attention and interaction for all of the pets staying with us. Kevin recently completed certification as a profesional groomer at Paragon Grooming Academy and plans to start his own business soon! His hobbies include art and paintball, and he has a special love for ferrets and otters.
Kelly Thompson, Kennel Management (No photo available)
Kelly assists in maintaining our kennels by feeding and watering the pets staying with us, and walking our hospitalized and boarding animals as needed. She has 6 years of veterinary experience and plans to attend Michigan State University to become a licensed veterinary technician. In her spare time, Kelly is a dog agility trainer working and showing Shetland Sheep dogs (Shelties) which are her favorite breed. She also enjoys working with computers and photography.
